I've sampled some of this band's older material, but this is even better. Here, the band sounds much more comfortable and natural, the vocals, guitar melodies, production, etc. - everything is on point. Well worth checking out if you like "dark punk" or whatever the kids are calling it these days.

Better late to the party than never. How did I miss this band? It's a great blend of The Cure during their 'a forest' period and alternative rock. The first track Grandview plunges you into an ocean of psychodelic guitars and rythmic drums and like a siren lures you into the depths. A very accomplished album and although I wouldn't categorize it as Gothic it captures the early spirit of that dusty genre better than most contemporary bands nowadays.
